Structural Integration Rolf Method
Structural Integration, also known as Rolfing® is a process of re-education of the body through movement & touch.  It systematically releases patterns of stress and impaired function.  The primary focus of Structural Integration is facilitating the relationship between gravity & the human body.  Read more about Structural Integration under the News header.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai yoga massage is a technique that aims to release blocked energy and stimulates healing through gentle movement, assisted yoga poses, rhythmic massage, & gentle twisting. This therapy is done on a comfortable mat on the floor with no oil.  Clients should wear comfortable clothing to give with the movement & stretching.  The practitioner will use their hands, knees, legs, & feet to create a flowing sequence of relaxation and/or invigoration.

Swedish Relaxation Massage
Swedish relaxation massage produces a state of rest & ease by soothing long, connected strokes performed by the practitioner.  Techniques include kneading, friction, & vibration to create the state of relaxation for the client.  Benefits of Swedish relaxation include increased circulation, reduces edema or swelling, relaxes tight muscles, increases awareness, & eliminates metabolic wastes.

Trigger Point Therapy & Rehabilitative Massage
Trigger Point Therapy & Rehabilitative Massage are modalities that concentrate on anatomically specific injuries or areas of trauma of the body.  The discourse used is called Cross Fiber Friction (CFF) where the practitioner will locate the specific areas, warm up the tissue, & apply pressure against the fiber of the muscle to dissolve areas of tension and the associated referred pain.  The effects of CFF include broadening fibers, increase circulation, increase range of motion, break up scar tissue, decrease tenderness or pain & decrease compensation.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage aims to produce similar results as Swedish relaxation massage, but utilizes smooth heated stones to help warm & ease tissue quickly.  Hot stones will be placed around the body before the therapist begins to warm the client.  The massage therapist will use the heated stones in their hands for the massage.  As the stones cool, they will be replaced with warm ones.  Oftentimes, the therapist will leave stones in specific places to stimulate energy where it could be blocked or the client has built up tension.
